Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon its' Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver doing the year in review for the 2010. Happy new year everybody. But the thing is for the next five video blogs on top of this video blog I'm gonna be talking about Coal Harbour, Yaletown, Downtown , the West End and Gastown as far as the most expensive units, the cheapest units, the largest, the smallest, the highest price per square foot and the lowest price per square foot in all those areas. But just to give you an idea what happen in 2010 as far as all areas are concern in Coal Harbour a total there are 2,734 sales in the Downtown core. In Coal Harbour there are 288 which meant about one at a day. In Gastown there were only 67 that worth that many and Downtown there was 1,483, in Yaletown there are 366 sales and the West End was 530. Very interesting how all everything broke down but if you take that 2,734 sales for the entire Downtown core that will work for about 10 per day pretty consistent throughout the whole year. Now 2011 is probably gonna be pretty uneventful unless something huge happens, mortgage rates go up we have 9/11 or something like that. I suspected it's just gonna path along as usual. Not go up too much not go down too much. But there will be a bit of fluctuation but anyways stay tune for the next five video blogs where we analyze each area in a little bit more detail. My name is Ian Watt if you have any questions. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
