Selling The Furniture With Your Vancouver Condo

Ian Watt video blogs about how people always say this price includes all the furniture, thinking that people will pay an extra $5,000 or $10,000 above the market value for the condo, when the reality is all furniture should be sold separately from the contract of purchase and sale. Ian Watt: Hi, Good afternoon! It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. A lot of times we have clients asking if they should sell their furniture's as part of the sell price. I always tell people no because furniture is really somebody's personal taste and it doesn't really add value to the property. The property is gonna sell for market value and generally if you put it on craigslist you probably get a better deal unless you have some very very very high end furniture. Which it doesn't seem to most people have in a regular listing in Downtown Vancouver. So what I always tell people to do. Sell your property we can also tell them that this items are for sale and we'll make it itemized list over here and handed out to any prospective purchaser. And then they can just buy it for the seller directly but we don't include it in the purchase price of the condo. Just makes for a big headache for a lot of people. My name is Ian Watt and if you have any questions. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
