A Little Misleading but January Real Estate Sales in Vancouver Up 17% From the Year Before

Ian Watt video blogs about how the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver has published their stats for January 2010 and it seems as thought the sales are up 17% from the year before, mostly because January 2009 was such a terrible month for real estate all over the world. Ian Watt: Ian Watt: Hi Good Afternoon, its Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. The stats are out for the Real Estate Board, Greater  Vancouver, report for January and it's very interesting. They say that the sales are up 17% from  the year before but think about this, the year before was January 2009 where the world had come to a stand still as far as real estate was concerned. Nothing was happening in Vancouver. Real Estate, for it to be up 17% sounds fantastic but it's really not all that different from years passed. It's a pretty average amount, just last year was down so much, that it makes it looks so attractive. My name is Ian watt and if you have any questions, you could at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
