If You Are Leaving Your Vancouver Condo for the Winter

Ian Watt video blogs about how if you are leaving your Vancouver Condo for the winter its best to talk to the strata and maybe give a key to the caretaker or concierge too, and its always best to turn off your water as well. If you want to voice your opinion or if you don't care for Ian's comments please email your feedback to ianwatt@ianwatt.ca and visit http://www.ianwatt.ca/RealEstateVideos for all the Ian Watt Real Estate Video Blogs.

Ian Watt: Hi Good Afternoon, It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. A lot of my clients they take off for the winter time. It's been November right now and they head on down to Palm Springs or go to Mexico or go to Hawaii and they locked up their place and take off. But one thing to keep in mind when you take off, you should probably turn off your water shut offs and get them all locked down for the winter. You never know if a pipe between the water shut off and your washer/dryer is gonna break or moves or whatever happens and it floods your unit and it floods the unit below. So might wanna shut off your water and talk to your strata before you go away and make sure the concierge has a key as well.  My name is Ian Watt and if you have any questions. You can always email me at
ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
