I Can Always Tell We Missed the Mark in the First Week

Ian Watt Video blogs about how he can always know the condo has missed the mark as far as pricing is concerned with the amount of emails and phone calls that come in the first week. Ian Watt : Hi Good Afternoon, It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. I can always tell we've missed the mark on the price. Especially when our clients price the properties for them for by themselves instead of us doing it. We always suggest the price but ultimately the homeowner has the last say. And if it's way too far above then we definitely don't take it. However if it's just a little bit above, you know we just see what happens. But I can always tell we missed the mark on a price the first week. The amount of emails that come in or don't come in. The amount phone calls that come in or don't come in. The amount of showings that come in or don't come in. It's so indicative of how it's gonna play out in the first, definitely in the first week is so indicative of how that whole listing is gonna play out. And you never get a second chance to make a first impression. We do our best to get it marketed properly but the price is such a huge factor when it comes to selling your home. Listen to your realtor. Look at the data and see what's out there. I know you wanna clear a certain amount of money but sometimes it's just doesn't work like that. My name is Ian Watt. If you want to discuss pricing. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
