May Will Be The Peak for Real Estate Transactions in 2009

Ian Watt video blogs about how May 2009 was a record month for real estate transactions for Vancouver and Ian believes that the remainder of the year will not the be as strong. Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon. It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. In May, we had record numbers of transactions in Downtown core lots of sales. The best month we've seen in a long long time. But I could be wrong but I think that May 2009 is going to be a bit of a peak for the next little while as far as  the amount of transactions are concerned. I don't think the prices are gonna escalate too fast. I don't think the prices are  gonna go down at all but I think the number of transactions throughout the summer and the rest of the year will not compare to what May was. I could be off but I think May was the better month and we're gonna see 20% less of transactions for the upcoming months. My name is Ian Watt. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
